TalkingPoint delivers increased productivity and reduced costs for Inventory Clerks
TalkingPoint's recently developed Speech Recognition system for Inventory Clerks provides completed reports by the time the clerk leaves the property removing the need for typing services.
Based upon Dragon Naturally Speaking's renowned Speech Recogniton accuracy, TalkingPoint's workflow enables Inventory Clerks to speak their findings into a Word document, add pictures and immediately send the completed report.
With the ability to utilise different templates, the ease of use in adding rooms and the ability to use voice shortcuts for standard text, TalkingPoint offers flexibility and speed in completing reports.
The new Inventory system works with tablet PCs which offer comfortable working, simplicity of use and the full facilities of a laptop.
New check-ins can be created calling up default customer templates and information. One voice command allows a new section to be created for a room with all the standard items for that room inserted in the document. Descriptions can be spoken to describe the room and its contents or standard descriptions can be recalled by simple voice commands. Pictures can be inserted and manipulated by voice.
Previous reports can be recalled for interim or check out updates.
Clerks can see the report as they carry out the surevey and easily correct errors. TalkingPoint's workflow also minimises any possibility of missing items within a room. Once the report has been checked it can immediately be sent to head office.
