Question: What is TalkingPoint SmartPedals ?
Answer: SmartPedals is a combination of footpedals hardware with a highly configurable program. This program allows each of the pedals to be configured to carry out a specific action. The action can be global, like turning a microphone on and off, or to be specific to specific windows (either as a group, e.g. Microsoft Word, or for individual windows). Any number of such rules can be set up. The actions can involve sending keystrokes to the window, sending Commands to TalkingPoint or some of the TalkingPoint applications, or carrying out specific actions like microphone control.
The rules can be saved as schemes so that different schemes can be loaded as required.
