See TalkingPoint at the NHS Pathology Conference South
Malcolm Grant to present TalkingPoint's bidirectional histology workflow automation at the NHS Pathology Conference South on 17 October.
TalkingPoint's bidirectional histology workflow automation automatically imports externally reported histology cases directly into a variety of LIMS systems.
With the continuing shortage of pathologists, outsourcing histology reporting is fundamental to reducing the NHS backlog in cancer reporting.
Unfortunately, the initial export and consequential re-importation of cases, from and to a Trust’s LIMS, can involve a significant amount of manual processing that absorbs large amounts of time, causes processing delays and is inherently error prone.
With limited NHS manpower to manage data flows between pathology networks and external providers, TalkingPoint has developed and deployed solutions to automate the flow of reports in and out of NHS Pathology providers to ensure NHS services can maximise efficiencies and free up valuable NHS staff time.
Malcolm will be presenting the automation and current user case studies exampling the efficiences to be gained and the impact on turnaround times. We will also be exhibiting at the conference and the team are looking forward to discussing how TalkingPoint's automation solutions can help NHS Pathology services adopt new technologies and services by bridging interoperability issues and automating repetitive administrative tasks.
